garth a time travelling sci-fi comic strip of british strong bodied comic character appeared first time in 1943 in british tabloid "daily mirror" and continued upto 1997,.first 59 episodes were drawn by steve dowling,subsequently by john allard ,frank bellammy drew a few adventures strting midway in SUN DANCE few panels of which,were drawn by allard, last episodes were drawn by martin asbury whose art was striking in artistisc detail but showed a lot of nudity making the strip somewhat unsuitable for juveniles,today i intend to post the story "SUN DANCE"---a time travelling saga where garth lands up in midst of american civil war, has brush with legendary [real life character] general custar,falls in love with an indian sqaw called pili patti?yellow leaf,loses her to confederate army soldier's bullet.story has A"WESTERN" feel to it and is one of a good emotionlly charged romantic tragedy
