we will run out–panicked passengers of the hydroelectric project bus
shout at the driver when they spot 43 lumbering gaiants on the road ahead .
Woolie- we don’t stand a chance there wi will try to speed
away through them
Monsters spot the bus and attack it while the helpless
spectator watch from above the hill top—
Garth- jane! Don’t watch they are tering apart the bus!
Now they are returning to the lake , we will go down there
and find out if there are any survivors!
A few hours after the moster attack-
Curious reporters and television crew , they make me nervous
– says jane
Garth- jane ,people have a right to
information!.....professor what do you think?
Lumiere- an experiment ,let us go to the lake’s edge
Professor is using radiation detector- there is high level
of radioactivity in glenoig lake!
Garth – you are right professor ,but how did this thing
happen?
Lumiere- I am almost certain , it is highly suspicious , let
me contact nuclear energy commission’s professor ware
While professor lumiere is busy in his investigations
newspapers are busy printing headlines
of monster attack on their front pages---
In the parliament- “will the minister assure us that there
will be action against these monsters?
“resign!”- a shout!
“ retaliatory action is being taken”
Mr minister we can use depth charges to destroy these
monsters!
Minister- depth charges? .. no.. I can’t tell you more but
you will have to find aother way!..security matters!

In a hotel near the glenoig lake in the village------
Oh! The monster? let me tell you all this would not be
happening if we had the right of self determination.[a heated discussion is
going on amongst the noisy drunk
locals]----
Professor tells Garth-“I had a talk with Mr. ware of nuclear
energy commission …….bad news garth..a fortnight back one of their nuclear
power plants had mistakenly dumped drums of
radioactive waste in glenoig lake..
I thought radioactive waste has always been dumped at
sea—Garth asks professor lumiere
Lumiere- yes garth but there was a mistake in this case .an
element of human error
One villager comes and makes the announcement-“hear this! A naval
troop has reached the village to fight the monsters
Garth-[to lumiere] you told me this morning that the lake
water has become radioactive
Lumiere-oh...Some drums of radioactive waste must have a
leak...which was probably the reason for accelerated growth of the monsters.
Nature maintains a delicate balance; any interference in
this balance can be the cause of such mishaps nature took millions of years for
the dinosaurs to genetically evolve. if the navy uses deep explosive water depth charges to kill the
animals it could open up the drum of radioactive waste and that will make the
lake radioactive for centuries to come .any suggestions Garth?
They can send divers in first to take out the drums of
nuclear waste—answers Garth
Lumiere- I want you to meet Commander Dore he is in charge
of this operation.
Garth meets Commander Dore in charge of action at the
glenoig lake—
I have a team of navy technicians and soldiers with me we
begin our work tomorrow morning itself...Would you like to join us?
With pleasure – answers Garth
Commander Dore- it seems that these damned radioactive drums
are at the bottom of lake somewhere
..Even if our sonar I able to detect its location even then
it will be risky to send someone in there to dig them out.
Garth- surely what with those beasts there in the water too,
but I have a suggestion to make to get the better of these monsters
Commander dore- what is your suggestion to catch these
monsters Garth?
Garth- not by going after them but to lure them out in the
open.
They come out in search of food; we will keep dead animals
as baits to attract them
Commander you are very right , tomorrow we will try to find
out how many are there and then tomorrow night!.....

A SMALL naval ship has reached glenoig lake---
Garth we have a map
of glenoig lake we shall search the
whole area thoroughly
Suddenly there is a beeping noise from sonar—“sir 2 objects
detected at the depth of 400 feet, hold on, a third one is approaching
Commander are those radioactive drums?—asks Garth
No Garth they are big! Really big! They must be the monsters
only!
Commander- it seems there are three monsters in there, but
we could not detect any signals from those radioactive drums
Garth they must have sunk into the quicksand at the bottom
of lake! We should now return to set the trap!
We have kept dead carcasses of the animals as bet to lure
the monsters out of the water and our machineguns will then shoot them
down—says the commander
Garth- police has cordoned off this whole area around the
lake to prevent anybody from getting hurt; it seems the right thing to do!
Jane- [entering Garth’s hotel room in the village]—a scheme
to catch the monsters? It should be fun, when are we going Garth?
Garth –sorry Jane you are not coming!
Jane—listen Garth, I am not a little girl, I am a middle
aged woman and I know how to take care of myself!
Garth—I am aware of that Jane , but you are staying here!
Jane –will I be left alone?
Garth—we do not know what will happen if those monsters go
out of control !therefore Jane you stay hare and that’s an order!
Later at the lake---
Commander- if those monsters smell out the dead animals they
will surely come this way
Garth- ok commander so let us take our positions!
Lumiere- it is 2 o’clock in the morning and yet no sign of
those monsters!
Garth –shih... I can hear some murmur from the water
Here they come, fire at them
when they are caught in the glare
of search light beams!
Professor lumeire—great! Hear that roar; nobody has heard
that splendid sound before
Garth- professor you are enjoying yourself!
“FIRE”! Bellows a terrified naval commander.
The monstrous animals are caught in the glare of powerful
searchlights and they come under rapid machine gun fire!
They are hurt but not down their hide is thicker and
stronger than a boiler skin!

Something terrible has happened; somebody has come in the
way of those monsters!
Garth—don’t shoot …it is Jane!
Garth sprints down to rescue Jane
GARTH- WE HAVE MANAGED TO SCARE THEM OFF THEY ARE RETURNING
TO THE LAKE
Lumiere- except the dead one
Group comprising of Lumiere, Jane Garth and naval commander
go near the dying tyrannosaurus
Jane- professor where did the bullet killed
him hit?
Professor- there in that air sac in his neck which seems to
be the only weak spot in its body
The bullet penetrated and shattered that sac and this huge
creature died like a fish out of water.
Lumiere points to the wound in monster’s neck---“there! That
air sack serves as temporary measure so as to keep the animal alive even when
out of water for some time”.
Garth- temporary?
Lumiere---The
radioactive waste dumped in the lake induced unnatural enormous growth of the
air sacs. How sad!, that dying monster
is writhing in agony trying to return to the water!
Garth- come let’s go Jane professor is getting emotional!
Professor- garth tomorrow I will make arrangements to pick
up the body of this gigantic beast
Garth- professor calm down!
Lumiere goes on- museum staff will pick him up. What a
pleasant image …specimen of an extinct animal race...will get it stuffed and it will be nomenclatured as “tyrannosaurus lumierensis”
Garth[amused at professor’s excited reaction]- oh jane do
all scientists get to behave like this?

The group returns to the villag
Garth- two more beast are now lft alive after the death of
this one!
Naval commander- thanks to professor lumiere now we know
their weak spot , that air sac in their neck!
We will go after the two remaining monsters in next few days
and by that timesome heavy duty big guns
will have come
Garth- I ahave a feeling that next time we not get so lucky!
Lumiere- you are right, one of them is a female and they are
hard to kill!
Jane- I was real terrified to find myself between the
monsters and gunfire!
Garth—so next time don’t act so mischeviously.
Lumiere- garth! Jane has a scientist’s brain in her head
Garth you say that… she is a woman and a woman does not like
a man’s advice!
Jane [getting angry]-ok garth you men think you are superior
and own everything as your
birthright and you treat us women as children , it is not the same with
me, you cannot treat me like that!
Garth- I thought your going to the lake was not prudent
nonight jane that ‘s why I did not allow
you to go.
Jane you did not allow! Who gave you the authority to order
me?
An angry jane slams the door shut!
Lumiere- garth don’t be annoyed with her,you Englishmen are
really ignorant when it comes to the matters of the heart!.That girl is in love
with you.
Garth-[surprised]- jane? You must be joking!
Garth- professor enough of that talk! Jane’s charms will not
work on me , I am not that type!
Professor- we shall see… don’t forget even today you saved her life and prior to
that also she had soft corner for you! What about you
Garth- it is all so houch-pouch!
