  1. Thanks doc.
Gun Laws can be found only on your blog in the entire net.
I remember that i even saw your blog being discussed and it's link posted regarding "Gun Laws" strips in some Giant Comic Forums :)
So don't be sad if no one comments, there are many Silent "Supa Rustams" downloaders :)

    1. Btw, why don't you CROP the white part away from your Scans, it will make your Blog less memory hungry to load. Currently due to BSNL's night "unlimited" removal, most bsnl bb user had to switch to bsnl's 512 kbps connection. same here with me. . now i am finding it very hard to load your Blog.... :(

    3. Dr., How do you scan your scans ? I mean, what's the software used while scanning ? or do you use Adobe Photoshop etc ?
if you are Not familiar with Photoshop etc, then you can go for the simple Windows XP Paint programme.
Try this clip, hope it helps......

  2. ... and No, Changing your Internet speed won't help us, we have to change our speed to a faster connection, but it's getting expensive now-a-days mainly in India. (Since 1st July)
The way to keep your Blog to load faster, is to keep your graphics in less bytes. The tricks is to Reduce the Graphics to smaller bytes, without loosing the quality, but that may require a bit of knowledge in those Graphical Programmes.
Some ways that may decrease the bytes of a Graphic---->
    1/ Reducing it Size.
    2/ Reducing it's DPI.
3/ Cropping away unwanted parts from it.
4/ Converting a Black-n-White Graphic into Greyscale, instead of keeping it in colour, etc etc......
But, there are other ways too, for example you can post Thumbnails of the Graphics on your Post, and link it to the original Big Picture lying elsewhere.......

    2. Err Dr. Why do you keep considering yourself as "Old" ? Aren't You fighting with the Spirit of Dr. Who ? :)
Most Scanners I know... scanning the Oldies are Old Aged peoples, (actually it's them who has got those precious ancient collections...)
I knew a Scanner nicked as "The Bumble-Bee Man", He provided us all with tons of GoldKeys, Dells etc etc until the day he expired. That poor fellow was suffering from 4th stage Cancer. Just imagine his Spirit,,,
He who understands the treasures hidden under those Comics, the artworks & creativities involves in them , seldom compares them with Materialistic objects...Comics are related with Spiritual Happiness...
It make you Younger n Younger..... :)

  4. Stamp comic strip are bad.

    Larger comic strips are nice.

One solution to decrease the strips size (black and white) is to change their colorspace from RGB (actual) to GreyScale. This is not changing the strip qualities.

RGB: 32 bits for one pixel
GreyScale: 8 bits for one pixel (usually)
