I guess over the years you have caused quite a heartburn for those "Batliwalas" by not giving them all your old newspaper clippings!(In Bombay of the sixties, these people who used to come around asking for old bottles, newspapers and the like used to be called that.)
ReplyDeleteHere in the US we have separate BLUE bin for putting such stuff which in the new terminology are called "Recyclables". And to think these Batliwallas used to do the same thing half a century ago in a much more efficient manner what the BLUE bins are striving to do. (Uh oh did I just divulge my approx age?)
