Ramesh Sir,
ReplyDeleteYou are saying that the Multi colour version of the TOI Strip of Sweet Caroline is available online?
or i just mis understood the fact that sweet caroline is available online with that of the coloured TOI Version?
if Colour TOI version is available online, kidnly do let me know where.
i meant b/w version of most of[sweet caroline ]and other modesty blaise stories are available on line but to my knowledge only these strips were published in colour in TOI when it was celebrating it's 100 years of publication
DeleteThanks for the reply Dr
DeleteI think Ramesh meant the story and not TOI strips.
ReplyDeleteBTW, did the doctor in you, Ramesh, notice that there was no mention of diabetes, but mention of cholesterol in that cartoon listing things bad for health? I don't recall any discussion back in the 80s about diabetes in a big way, but by mid 90s it was in the forefront with many calling it the "sugar disease" in most vernacular expressions.
we were taught about diabetes mellitus in great details even in 1981 when i did my md. in medicine but it was only after year2000 that India achieved dubious distinction of 'diabetes capital' of the world, it is being blamed on "metabolic syndrome" and most recently to vitamin D deficiency!
