Thorblen is watching London streets as the dawn is breaking and he suddenly spots a night club bearing the name of johny warren whose name he had unearthed while analyzing police constable p.c. higgins’s mind earlier that night ,he thinks that a crime boss like john warren with his network of underground crime syndicate will be useful in carrying out his sinister designs for London , and using occult power of the ring of sycultra he suddenly gains entry in to the room of johny warren  who is having a good time with his girl friend diserie

An invisible thorblen is watching crime boss john warren seducing his girlfriend seated on a sofa “first pretty woman I see after 5 million years , and she is wasting her time with this brute.”-thinks thorblenand he decides to manifest himself in front of a startled and very angry don.

John warren is very angry at seeing a half necked giant figure of thorblen in his bedroom, he summons his goons to take care of this imprudent roughneck  and then throw him out.

Thorblen uses occult power of sycultra’s ring and suddenly the goon find his feet stuck to the floor and he is unable to move his body and when warren shouts at him to use his gun, the gun toting goon shrieks out in painful agony as the pistol melts in his hand and the burning red hot metal is seared into his palm.

Johny warren is horrified to see the fate of his goon when the gun melts in to his hand thorblen orders him to gather his gang as he has work for them johny readily agrees and falls in line quickly even when he is ordered by thorblen to get out of the room and leave him alone with john’s girl friend.

Thorblen tells disiere johny wrren’s girl friend that he wants him disiere tells him to cool down as she was johny warre’s girl, but thorblen grabs her in his arm and smothers her with deep burning kiss disiers suddenly swept off her feet by this demonic lover and falls under his  spell muterring helplessly where wer  all these years lover? “ sleeping my dear” responds a gleeful thorblen as he carries her in his arms in to the bedroom.

In the national laboratory garth and lumier are with crytologist flanders

‘how much time will it take to get the scrool through the computer? Asks gart. “only a few sconds , most of the time consumed was in making the prepratins “ responds flanders.

Zukanor’s scroll is decoded… “gentlemen this is a message from one zukanor  who lived 5 millian years ago In ishran.” Announces flanders.

Ishran! Where is that?asks lumiere.

It is now under the north Atlantic ocean , and the person you are looking for is a getleman named thorblen endowed with strange occult powers.

So 5 million years ago the ancient people of long forgotten land of ishran  and great occult powers which we do not have? Asks garth.

Not only that,zukanor should wake up amongst a race of highly intelligent superior people in this way he wanted to protect him”-flanders continues,so that he enabled thorblen to have the power of invisibility and the power of “possession” or to enter inside mind and body of any human being.” Just like zonesez?

In garth’s London flat garth is asking proff. Lumiere where to start looking for this invisible person? A person like thorblen will make his presence felt eventually lumiere answers and at this time the phone rings. Garth listens and when proff asks him who was on telephone garth informs hi that it was a friend in the police force ,one of whose men had a strange experience last night , he ran into thorblen he was seized with sudden dizziness, let us go talk to him.

At the station police inspector tells professor lumiere that pc Higgins

‘s condition is slowly improving

Higgins tells his frightening ordeal of his run  in with thorblen “  it was terrifying I saw certain horrible things

Clearly thorblen took contol over your brain-says lumiere

But why? Asks garth

To learn about the new world he analyzed the functioning of higgin’s brain to get a basic brain map of the new race among whom he had landed. proff Explains his theory.

While garth and proff lumiere are discussing how police can reach thorblen and face him with his mysterious powers ,thorblen is decked out in new well tailored suit in the apartment of johny warren while being appreciated in his new look and modern suit of clothes  by johny warren’s girlfriend disiere

Thorblen instructs johny warren and unfold his grandiose plans to commit big crime in  London for which he asks warren to find him a few tough criminals.

Thorblen—so the men I need are in jail ?

Johny warren-thorblen sir, this is the list they are all hardened crooks.

3 of them are in ville, 3 in medstone and 2 are in scrub all are serving life terms.

Thorblen- I will  free them tonight.

Warren-what? From 3 jails in one night? You must be joking!

Thorblen- I  am always  practical !

Warren I want a bigger place tonight we move from here,

Thorblen- you will know by tonight, you and your people have to learn a lot

 I am going to commit largest wholesale slaughter in history of mankind!and warren you will help me in committing this crime.

Garth- any new development proff.?

Lumiere- yes  a patient has been admitted in hospital in emergency in casualty last night who is a member of warren’s gang.

They have found  a metal butt embedded in to the hand and he keeps on babbling about a half nacked giant man in the bedroom of john warren.

Garth- thorblen? Why did he get himself involved with an irresponsible person like warren?

Lumiere- he found his address  in the brain  of p.c. Higgins.

Garth and professor lumiere go and visit johny warren’s goon admitted in the hospital with metal butt buried in his hand when they quiz him about who did this horrible thing to him he does not tell them anything as he is badly frightened and asks them to leave him alone

Garth and professor lumiere then  decide to visit johny warren’s night club and find the club deserted and locked out garth decides to force entry into warren’s den by forcing the door open.

THORBLEN stands at the window watching the sky—“zukanor I don’t recognize anything everything has changed ..even the stars and planets somehow look different “

“Naturally you have been sleeping over last 5 million years”-says a gleeful zukanor’s ghost like apparition.

You destroyed the land of ishran  by flooding us.. do you remember the flood gates you had deliberately thrown open letting the sea water come in and sink our land.?

Bah! That was only a joke!

Well dear nephew ,now the joke is on you enjoy the taste  of your own joke , a brave new world awaits you.. I will now return ..good bye!-says zukanor and disappears..

GARTH and prof. lumiere reach the laboratory and find thorblen standing near the window …

“you are perhaps right! He is alive !” proff. Whispers..

Proff! Close the door softly and switch on the lights says garth

As the light comes on garth and thorblen stand staring at each other –“who are you?,where have you come from? We are friends... We are here to help you says garth.

Thorblen makes use of strange occult powers of the ring of sycultra on his finger and suddenly disappears !

He has vanished says an astonished proff .

“ not only that ,he reached the door passing right through me!-says a visibly shaken garth.

“you are right !he is not in this room ..says lumeire”

“that means he can become invisible whenever he likes ..says garth”

Coming out of the laboratory garth and lumeire are suddenly startled on hearing loud cackling mocking laughter of thorblen..

“do  you hear that professor ? It is astonishing” says garth

“maybe we have let loose a devil on our world!” says lumiere

On closely examining Thorblen’s box Garth and Proff find the scroll …

Can you read this script? Asks Garth.

No! I have never come across anything like this before! ..Answers Lumiere

Only one man could probably read this cryptologist Dr Flanders we shall meet him tomorrow –Lumiere tells Garth while they are speeding in their car on a dark London street by the side of river Thames.

“Tomorrow? Why not today? Asks garth

He must be asleep garth ..

Then we will wake him up says Garth ,earlier we know about this devil the better .

A few mile away thorblen is roaming around on dark London streets..

Thinking-“I have got to be careful..These people are 5 million years older than me they may be a race of super beings.

A speeding taxi is about to crush an invisible man….

“is that launatic trying to kill me”thinks thorblen when  he sees a taxi rushing at him  not realizing that driver is unable to see him,he points his finger at the driver invoking the occult power of the ring of sycultra  resulting in the taxi rolling away uncontrollably.

Ha ! ha! This will teach him a lesson… comments a smirking thorblen.

Thorblen is at Trafalgar squire when he is spotted by  a police constable  .thorblen thinks” I should talk with some local person”

“are you in some kind of trouble sir? A PC questions thorblen…why are you roaming about dressed like this sir? Your name and address please?

“thorblen!...a resident of  ancient land of ishran.. a descendant, third in line of great meldon answers thorblen defiantly .

No sir you  did not understand what I am saying? Asks PC

Clearly   a primitive human being! Doesn’t understand anything, I will enter his mind and see…thinks thorblen.

Thorblen disappears and enters in to the mind of PC Higgins

Hey! Where did he go ? says a startled Higgins ..and suddenly he is seized with terrible headache “ what is happening inside my head? Why I keep on  repeating thorblen ,ishran zukanor again and again?

Within seconds thorblen analyzes PC higgins’s mind.

Thorblen comes out of the mind of a dazed policeman –“supermen!bah! these primitive people do not know anything ,they have no powers I am their lord and master –gloats thorblen.

I have found out by entering this man’s mind.. do you hear me zukanor new world’s people  are utter fools,mere animals and now I will use them in any way I like.exults thorblen.

There is no dearth of idiots like you exclaims thorblen calling pc Higgins a fool and suddenly disappears leaving a dazed and very shaken policeman behind.—“ I have seen terrible things, burning men, snow and fire ,talking dogs!

It is night and traflgar squire witnesses a strange spectacle of a fishing going on in a public fountain watched by a surprised police inspector and beat sergeant…

Sergeant what is going on here?

Sir he is constable Higgins , seems like a joke to me.

“sergeant I have caught a fish look how beautiful it is come let us fish together you too inspector! –says a confused pc Higgins.

“for god’s sake pull him out of there “ shouts the police inspector.

Later at the police station---“ sergeant I don’t understand anything he keeps on repeating” strange name thorblen” while PC Higgins is still muttering incoherently inspector tells sergeant to summom the police surgeon but for god’s sake not a word of all this should be leaked to anybody.

Sir he was repeating this name again and again when we brought him in last night-sergeant tells the inspector.

Then find out who is this thorblen  advice police surgeon as he prepares to leave.

Meanwhile professor lumiere and garth are discussing the secret script on the scroll found in thorblen ‘s box with cryptologist flanders.

“astonishing! Strange! This script seems to belong to as yet undiscovered lost ancient civilization-exclaims an astonished flanders the cryptologist.

Ok. Flinders but how to interpret this script?-asks the professor

Can we use a computer? Asks garth

Good suggestion! Says flanders I will use one of the computers at national laboratory

First we will arrange these things in an ordrly fashion and tomorrow we can feed this in to the computer..but first let us have some coffee it is going to be painstaking hard work –says flanders

THE WAKENING----

5 millian years ago a hermit called zukanor lived in a big cave on a place called ishran which was located at where there is present day north atlantic ocean

zukanor-

"so thorblen ,people of ishran are pursuing you and you want me to help you?...

thorblen--

"so where else could i go my dear uncle?"

zukanor-

"runt!..you spoiled  their women..?"

thorblen-

"they came to me willingly..i taught them the art of living.."

zukanor-

you pillaged the temple of asunzai,,made fun of gods of ishran,you killed.."

thorblen--

enough of this list...will you help me?

zukanor-

Yes for the sake of your dead father, but first i shall put you to sleep,,

thorblen[aghast]--sleep?..oh ...no...

don't put me to sleep,no magic tricks uncle

zukanor...there is no other way[pouring a magic potion in to roaring fire and a vivid scene of  an army of soldiers riding on backs of mammoths springs up in the flames..]

thorblen [pointing towards a huge wooden log sticking out from a gaping hole in the cave wall]-

zukanor-"you know i am the guard and gatekeeper of the great sluicegate which is holding up outside sea

"what if i remove this"?

zukanor -"you fool would you like to drown the people of ishran?"

thorblen [thinking while pushing out the massive wooden log and relesing the path for outside seawater to come in] why not? they are after my blood,let them drown,i pity their women."

zukanor is unawre of what i have done ,when the glaciers will melt the water will rush in sinking ishran and it's people.."

thorblen drinks up the magic potion of long sleep-"long live uncle long live your beard and long live your arthritic bones.."

zukanor-[seeing thorblen slumping to ground]----

i will have the last laugh ,dear nephew! Leeno! prepare magic potion for this worthless runt!..zukanor instructs his subordinate...

giant thorblen is helpless in the faceof his uncle jukanor’s mighty magic

“poor thorblen—says jukanor whil thorblen lie in deep sleep on the floor of his cave…” this magical potin will reach every fibre of your body circulting in your veins and it will make you sleep for 5million years”

“He will wake up in a strange new world of super beings”-zukanor says to his underling.

“You think so master”?-says a doubtful leeno

“but I can conquer time itself ,I can roam invisible around the space,then those people wil be godlike…”says zukanor.

Zukanor slips a magic ring into sleeping thorblen’s right hand, “guardian of life’s mysteries. This ring of sycultra will protct you”

“what is that scroll of papers at hi sfeet ..master?”-asks leeno.

That is our message to feople of distant future.. now seal this box and throw it in to the sea-“-zukanor asks his underling leeno

Glass box sealed with thorblen’s body is thrown from aclifftop in to the ocean –“by the time you wake  up we shall be long gone and forgotten, best wishe for a new future”-zukanor thus bids farewell to thorblen.

5 mill. Yers have passed, drillin for oil is going on in north atlantic

“We are laying explosives [mines] at a depth of 50 feet for our exploration”

Thorblen’s box is thrown up to surface as the mine explodes

There is acoffin  with a body inside it says on eone worker on the ol rig,”let us haul it up” says another

Boss what shall we do with it?

Our ob is only exploration, send it to shore where they will decide what to dothat night in garth’s londan flat-“they have found this coffin in north Atlantic garth informs lumiere reading from newspapers

“home office has brought it to London and forensic expert professor Gilpin has asked me to be present when they open it ,you can also come along garth!---says proff  lumiere

In a famous specialized research London hospital-“gilpin when will you open it? Asks proff.

‘that  is our problem  we have used hammers ,acetylene blow torches and even laser rays but we failed to open the box.” It is impenetrable.

This is very intriguing says lumiere

Body is well preserved , but of course there is no question of his coming to life –says Gilpin

“that man is not dead he is alive and waiting to be resurrected”---garth says watching thorblen’s apparently lifeless body in the glass coffin .

But Gilpin ,garth has  miraculous intuitive powers and I respect his instincts  are you very sure ,garth-asks proff lumiere

I am certain , I sense something trying to come out to surface ,he must be alive ..says garth

After a few more futile attempts to open the box containing thorblen –dr Gilpin addresses the technicians working with blow torches that it is already midnight and  and that now they should go home and come back in the morning.

Press reporters are waiting outside the laboratory and as garth and lumiere emerge they are asked questions –whose body is inside that coffin professor?”is it all a big joke?”

If it is indeed a joke I would like to meet the person who has played this joke , he must be brilliant!—responds professor lumiere.

Garth you seem to be disturbed”-says proff lumiere

“I am only exited and curious, let us go back to the box after the crowds disperse”garth says.it is fascinating.

Garth and lumiere speed back to lab. Meanwhile thorblen inside the box suddenly wakes up “where am i?..what is happening?is it a trick of zukanor? Where are you zukanor?—he shouts frantically.

“zukanor help me I am trapped inside this box buried alive

No thorblen ! you are a low life you deserve this.. press the button near your shoulder says suddenly appearing spectral form of uncle zukanor..

You have the ring of sycultra . goddess of infinite mysteries on your finger it will protect you, but use it carefully!-warns zuknor as thorblen is released from the glass coffin.
